Jason Steeghs – Big Picture Cleantech

Jason has been working at the intersection of sustainability and communication since graduating from environmental studies with a journalism focus. He progressed from environmental writing and building energy assessments into design, websites, and marketing approximately 10 years ago, followed by corporate sustainability reporting and strategy, before honing his focus on the emerging cleantech sector

He has worked in a number of companies of all sizes while building his own agency, launching Big Picture Communication nearly 10 years ago, and Big Picture Cleantech more recently.  As part of his expertise, Jason includes VanCity in his portfolio of clients for whom he has conducted market research and analysis activities.

 

Mark Heilig — GLOBE Group

Mark joined the GLOBE Team in early 2013 and has been primarily engaged in managing the operations of GLOBE’s technical division, GLOBE Performance Solutions, which is responsible for technology validation and Canadian Environmental Technology Verification (ETV). In addition to his role within GLOBE, he brings over 15 years of experience in international relations, business development, sales and operations management to the team.  As a west coast local, Mark’s passion for international business has taken him around the globe, working  and developing close relationships with customers throughout Africa, Europe and Latin America, before finally settling back in Vancouver. He has worked on numerous domestic and international projects for a variety of clients and industries, including the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the organic food industry, the telecom sector and the Ghanaian Ministry of Trade.
